Čelevec (Macedonian: Челевец) is a small village in the western part of the Demir Kapija Municipality of North Macedonia. It mostly consists of Turkish inhabitants. The people are very traditional and the village itself is located in a beautiful wooded area between the mountains. To get here, you can walk along the river at the stopping point between the two tunnels on the main highway to Gevgelija that lead into the canyon. Alpinists train along this path and it is also a nice climb to see the canyon beyond from the top of the rocks.
