According to the 1467-68 Ottoman defter, Bulačani appears as being inhabited by an Albanian population. Due to Slavicisation, some families had a mixed Slav-Albanian anthroponomy - usually a Slavic first name and an Albanian last name or last names with Albanian patronyms and Slavic suffixes.
The names are: Dimitri and his son Milesha, Nikola and his son, Stala and his son Milesha, Bojo and his son, Konda Rasho, Gura and his son Dushman, Nikola and his son Milesha, Dimitri, his son, Ivan the son of Bukuro, Kojço the son of Bukuro, Milesha the son of Bogdan, Bojka Peshko, Kojçin son of Stalesha, Kolesh (Kol + Lesh) son of Dushman[1]
