Nangere is a Local Government Area in Yobe State, Nigeria. It has its headquarters in the town of Sabon Gari Nanger (or Sabon Garin) at11°51′50″N 11°04′11″E.

Nangere LGA occupies a total area of 980 square kilometres and has an average temperature of 34 degrees centigrade. The usually LGA witnesses two major seasons which are the dry and the rainy seasons while the total precipitation in the area is estimated at 890 mm of rainfall per annum. [1]
