Pimperna is a village and rural commune in the Cercle of Sikasso in the Sikasso Region of southern Mali. The commune covers an area of 161 square kilometers and includes 10 villages.[3] In the 2009 census it had a population of 11,329.[2] The village of Pimperna, the administrative center (chef-lieu) of the commune, is 16 km northwest of Sikasso on the RN11, the main road between Sikasso and Koutiala.
