Montaldo Scarampi is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Asti in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) southeast of Turin and about 9 kilometres (6 mi) southeast of Asti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 704 and an area of 6.7 square kilometres (2.6 sq mi).[3]
