Ghods (Persisch: قدس, auch bekannt als Qods oder Shahr-e Qods, früher Karaj, Qal'eh Hasan oder Qal'eh-ye Ḩasan Khān) ist eine Stadt und Hauptstadt des Verwaltungsbezirks Ghods in der Provinz Teheran. 2016 hatte die Stadt über 309.000 Einwohner.[1]

Qods (Persian: قدس, also known as Shahr-e Qods, meaning "City of Qods"; formerly, Karaj, Qal‘eh Hasan, and Qal‘eh-ye Ḩasan Khān)[2] is a city and capital of Qods County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 229,354, in 60,331 families.[3] Before Qods officially became a municipality in 1989 it was named Qal‘eh Hasan. The city is named after Jerusalem, in Arabic spelling.
