Razan County (Persian: شهرستان رزن) is a county in Hamadan province in Iran. The capital of the county is Razan. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 111,120, in 26,277 families.[1] The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Sardrud District. The county has two cities: Razan and Damaq. There are many famous persons and celebrities from this county such as: Molla-Ali Masoumi, Dr. Mohammad Mofatteh, Mohyedin Anvari, Mohammad Piran, Mostafa Rahmandost, Sedighe Vasmaghi, Ghorbanali Namdari, Hossein Nori-Hamdani, Dr. Nosrati, and MirzaHasan Razini.[2]
