Aras District (Persian: بخش ارس) is a district (bakhsh) in Poldasht County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 12,716, in 2,843 families.[2] The District has no cities. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Gejlarat-e Gharbi Rural District and Gejlarat-e Sharqi Rural District.
