Alut (Persian: اَلوت, also Romanized as Ālūt)[1] is a village in Bowalhasan Rural District, Namshir District, Baneh County, Kurdistan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 916, in 187 families.[2] The village is populated by Kurds.[3]
