Aliverdi Owshaqi (Persian: عليوردي اوشاقي, also Romanized as ‘Alīverdī Owshāqī; also known as ‘Alī Verdī Ūshāghī)[1] is a village in Bastamlu Rural District, in the Central District of Khoda Afarin County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 720, in 160 families.[2] The village is populated by the Kurdish Chalabianlu tribe.[3]
