Kalampala is situated 5 km (3.1 mi) away from Ranni Town, state of Kerala, India. It is 22 km (14 mi) from the Pathanamthitta district headquarters. Kalampala is a small village in Ranni Taluk and Mallapalli Taluk. Villagers are mostly Christians and Hindus and are very friendly. One LP school is the only public institution here. Three Christian churches are here facing each other and a beautiful waterfall drop about 12 ft (3.7 m) in the stream running through this village. Ranny Mallappally road is passing through this village.
