Se encuentra ubicado al sureste del estado, en la región de Tubinga, cerca del lago de Constanza, de la frontera con Austria, y de la orilla oeste del río Iller —un afluente derecho del Danubio— que lo separa del estado de Baviera.

Bad Waldsee (bis 1956 Waldsee) ist eine baden-württembergische Stadt in Oberschwaben im Landkreis Ravensburg mit den Prädikaten Moorheilbad und Kneippkurort. Bekannt ist sie auch wegen ihrer historischen Altstadt mit vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten und einer großen Fußgängerzone. Bad Waldsee ist ein Mittelzentrum der Region Bodensee-Oberschwaben, das neben Bad Waldsee die Gemeinden Aulendorf und Bergatreute, Wolfegg und Wolpertswende umfasst. Seit dem 1. It is situated 20 km south of Biberach an der Riß, and 20 km northeast of Ravensburg. The town is known for its historic old city with many landmarks and large pedestrian zone.
