The canton of Lens-Nord-Est is a former canton situated in the department of the Pas-de-Calais and in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region of northern France. It was disbanded following the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. It consisted of 3 communes,[1] which joined the canton of Lens in 2015.[2] It had a total of 21,392 inhabitants (2012).[1]

The canton is organised around Lens in the arrondissement of Lens. The altitude varies from 21m (Annay) to 71m (Lens) for an average altitude of 33m.

Der Kanton Lens-Nord-Est war bis 2015 ein französischer Kanton im Arrondissement Lens, im Département Pas-de-Calais und in der Region Nord-Pas-de-Calais. Sein Hauptort war Lens. Vertreterin im Generalrat des Départements war zuletzt von 2004 bis 2015 Marie-Paule Ledent (PS). Der Kanton Lens-Nord-Est lag im Mittel 33 Meter über Normalnull, zwischen 21 Metern in Annay-sous-Lens und 71 Metern in Lens.
