Nechanice (Czech pronunciation: [ˈnɛxaɲɪtsɛ]; German: Nechanitz) is a town in Hradec Králové District in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,300 inhabitants.

The first written mention of Nechanice is from 1228. In 1867, it was promoted to a town. It lost the status in 1949, but the town status was restored in 1992.[2]
