Milavče lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of Domažlice, 42 km (26 mi) south-west of Plzeň, and 125 km (78 mi) south-west of Prague.
Villages of Božkovy and Radonice are administrative parts of Milavče.
On 4 August 2021 two trains collided near the village.
