Louka u Litvínova lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north of Most, 30 km (19 mi) west of Ústí nad Labem, and 79 km (49 mi) north-west of Prague.
The first written mention of Louka u Litvínova is from 1289.[2]
The main landmark is the Chapel of Saint Anthony of Padua. It was built in 1834 from the money of local farmers.[2]
