Saint John was a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, Canada. It used a bloc voting system to elect candidates. It was split into the ridings of Saint John City and Saint John County in 1795.

  1. The members elected for St. John were known as the Government candidates. Another group of candidates, Tertuluss Dickinson, Richard Lightfoot, Richard Bonsall, Peter Grim, Jonathan Boggs and Alexander Reid, received a majority of the votes but were unsuccessful because of the actions of the sheriff in validating the votes.
