Omak (.mw-parser-output .IPA a{text-decoration:none}oʊˈmæk[1]) ist eine Stadt (City) am Fuße der Okanogan Highlands im nördlichen zentralen US-Bundesstaat Washington. Mit einer 2015 geschätzten Bevölkerung von 4.854 Einwohnern[2] auf 8,9 Quadratkilometern Fläche ist Omak die größte Gemeinde im Okanogan County und die größte Gemeinde in Zentral-Washington nördlich von Wenatchee. Die Region Greater Omak mit etwa 8.229 Einwohnern (lt. U.S.Census 2010) ist das größte Urban Area im Okanogan Country, welche die größten Anteile ihrer Zwillingsstadt Okanogan einschließt. Die Bevölkerung hat seit dem Census von 1910 bedeutend zugenommen, als 520 Einwohner unmittelbar vor der Eingliederung in das County (1911) registriert wurden.[en] Omak, Washington
Omak (/oʊˈmæk/ o-MAK[4]) is a city located in the foothills of the Okanogan Highlands in north-central Washington, United States. With an estimated 4,845 residents as of 2010, distributed over a land area of 3.43 square miles (8.9 km2), Omak is the largest municipality of Okanogan County and the largest municipality in Central Washington north of Wenatchee. The Greater Omak Area of around 8,229 inhabitants as of the 2010 census is the largest urban cluster in the Okanogan Country region, encompassing most of its twin city of Okanogan.
