Das St. Clair County[1][2] ist ein County im Bundesstaat Alabama der Vereinigten Staaten. Es liegt im zentralen Norden des Bundesstaates und gehört zu seinen am schnellsten wachsenden Bezirken. Es ist das einzige County in Alabama mit zwei Verwaltungssitzen (County Seat), nämlich Ashville und Pell City. 2007 wurde festgestellt, dass St. Clair County über die größten Erdgasvorkommen des Landes verfügt. Seine Nähe zu den Counties Jefferson und Shelby hat es für die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung und Wohnbebauung attraktiv gemacht. Der Bezirk wird von einer gewählten fünfköpfigen Kommission regiert.[3]

St. Clair County is a county located in the central portion of the U.S. state of Alabama.[1] As of the 2020 census, the population was 91,103.[2] It has two county seats: Ashville and Pell City.[3] It is one of two counties in Alabama, and one of 33 in the United States, with more than one county seat. Its name is in honor of General Arthur St. Clair, an officer in the French and Indian War.[1] St. Clair County is included in the Birmingham-Hoover, Alabama Metropolitan Statistical Area.
