La contea di Hardeman in inglese Hardeman County è una contea dello Stato del Texas, negli Stati Uniti. La popolazione al censimento del 2010 era di 4 139 abitanti.[1] Il capoluogo di contea è Quanah.[2] La contea è stata creata nel 1858 ed in seguito organizzata nel 1884.[3] Il suo nome deriva dai fratelli Bailey Hardeman e Thomas Jones Hardeman,[4] i primi politici e legislatori del Texas.

Il Prairie Dog Town Fork Red River si unisce a Buck Creek nella fascia nord-occidentale della contea formando il Red River: esso segna la maggior parte del confine settentrionale dello Stato del Texas con l'Oklahoma.[8]

Hardeman County (/ˈhɑːrdɪmən/ HAR-di-mən) is a county located in the U.S. state of Texas. As of the 2020 census, its population was 3,549.[1] The county seat and largest city is Quanah.[2] The county was created in 1858 and later organized in 1884.[3] It is named for two brothers, Bailey Hardeman and Thomas Jones Hardeman,[4] early Texas politicians and legislators.
