Das Ballard County[3] ist ein County im US-amerikanischen Bundesstaat Kentucky. Im Jahr 2010 hatte das County 8249 Einwohner und eine Bevölkerungsdichte von 12,7 Einwohnern pro Quadratkilometer.[4] Der Verwaltungssitz (County Seat) ist Wickliffe, das nach Colonel Charles Wickliffe benannt wurde, einem Landeigentümer, auf dessen Land die Stadt errichtet wurde. Das County gehört zu den Dry Countys, was bedeutet, dass der Verkauf von Alkohol eingeschränkt oder verboten ist.

Ballard County is a county located in the extreme west portion U.S. state of Kentucky. As of the 2020 census, the population was 7,728. Its county seat is Wickliffe.[1] The county was created by the Kentucky State Legislature in 1842 and is named for Captain Bland Ballard, a soldier, statesman, and member of the Kentucky General Assembly.[2] Ballard County is part of the Paducah, KY-IL Micropolitan Statistical Area.
