Globe ist eine Kleinstadt im Gila County im US-Bundesstaat Arizona. Globe ist auch Sitz der County-Verwaltung (County Seat) des Countys. Das U.S. Census Bureau hat bei der Volkszählung 2020 eine Einwohnerzahl von 7.249[1] auf einer Fläche von 46,7 km² ermittelt. Die Bevölkerungsdichte lag bei 155 Einwohnern je km². Der Ort liegt auf einer Höhe von 1080 m. ü. NN im Gila-Becken unterhalb des Mogollon Rims. Der Ort wird durch den U.S. Highway 60 erschlossen.[en] Globe, Arizona
Globe (Western Apache: Bésh Baa Gowąh "Place of Metal")[3] is a city in Gila County, Arizona, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population of the city was 7,532.[4] The city is the county seat of Gila County.[5] Globe was founded c. 1875 as a mining camp. Mining, tourism, government and retirees are most important in the present-day Globe economy.[fr] Globe (Arizona)
