Population
En 2000, la villa compte 881 habitants répartis dans 328 foyers et 225 familles. La ville compte 64,81 % d'Amérindiens, 28,94 % de Blancs et 12,03 % de Latinos[1].
Histoire
Joe Conforte ouvre une maison close à Wadsworth en 1955 et est arrêté en 1959 ; le procureur du comté de Wahsoe, Bill Raggio, fait brûler le ranch où se trouve la maison close[2].
Le , une loi de protection des Mustang américains interdit d'utiliser des véhicules à moteur pour chasser les chevaux sauvages. La lobbyiste principale responsable de la loi est Velma Bronn Johnston, de Wadsworth[3].
Personnalités notables

Wadsworth is a census-designated place (CDP) in Washoe County, Nevada. The population was 834 at the time of the 2010 census. It is part of the Reno–Sparks Metropolitan Statistical Area and located entirely within the Pyramid Lake Indian Reservation. The town was named for General James S. Wadsworth, a Civil War general killed during the Battle of the Wilderness in 1864. It was given this name by Leland Stanford of the Central Pacific Railroad as a favor to General Irvin McDowell,[2] whom Wadsworth had served under during the Civil War.[3]- [fr] Wadsworth (Nevada)
