Das Adair County[3] ist ein County im US-amerikanischen Bundesstaat Kentucky. Im Jahr 2010 hatte das County 18.656 Einwohner und eine Bevölkerungsdichte von 17,7 Einwohnern pro Quadratkilometer.[4] Der Verwaltungssitz (County Seat) ist Columbia[5], das im Gedenken an Christoph Kolumbus benannt wurde. Das County gehört zu den Dry Countys, was bedeutet, dass der Verkauf von Alkohol eingeschränkt oder verboten ist.

Adair County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. Its county seat is Columbia.[1] The county was founded in 1801 and named for John Adair, then Speaker of the House in Kentucky and later Governor of Kentucky (1820 – 1824).[2][3] Adair County has some of the few surviving American Chestnut trees in the United States.[4][5]
