According to one source, Solsberry is likely a corruption of Salisbury, a city in England.[3] The Solsberry post office was established in 1851.[4] However, according to locals, the name Solsberry originates from one of the early settlers to the region, Solomon Wilkerson, who planned the town and is buried in the town cemetery.[5]
Solsberry is located at 39°05′00″N 86°45′22″W.

Solsberry is home to the Sculpture Trails Outdoor Museum.[6]
A likely origin is that Solsberry is a phonetic spelling of Salisbury, an English town name...
