Sipesville is an unincorporated community in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, United States.[1] The community is located along Pennsylvania Route 985 6.3 miles (10.1 km) north of Somerset. Sipesville is named for Michael Sipe, who opened a mercantile in 1843.[2] Sipesville has a post office with ZIP code 15561, which opened on April 9, 1851;[3][4] Levi Hoffman was the first postmaster.[2]
