Kinlochbervie (in gaelico scozzese: Ceann Loch Biorbhaidh), noto localmente come KLB[1] è un villaggio di pescatori della costa nord-occidentale della Scozia, facente parte dell'area di consiglio dell'Highland e della contea tradizionale del Sutherland e situato lungo il Loch Bervie, un'insenatura del Loch Inchard (Oceano Atlantico)[1].

Geografia fisica
Kinlochbervie si trova lungo la costa occidentale del Sutherland, a circa 21 km a sud-ovest di Durness e a circa 6,5 km a nord-ovest di Rhiconich.[1]
Storia
Kinlochbervie si sviluppò come località portuale nel corso degli anni settanta.[1]

Kinlochbervie (schottisch-gälisch Ceann Loch Biorbhaidh) ist ein Fischerei-Hafen mit etwa 500 Einwohnern im äußersten Nordwesten der Highlands in der extrem dünn besiedelten schottischen Grafschaft Sutherland. Der Hauptwirtschaftsfaktor ist die Fischerei. Die Fischversteigerungshalle am Hafen dient nicht nur den ortsansässigen Fischern als Umschlagplatz für den angelandeten Fisch. Für den Abtransport des Fisches in Kühltransportern hat Kinlochbervie daher vergleichsweise gute Straßenverbindungen, welche ansonsten in der Gegend vielfach nur einspurig ausgebaut sind.[en] Kinlochbervie
