Helland (Cornish: Hellann) is a civil parish and village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated .mw-parser-output .frac{white-space:nowrap}.mw-parser-output .frac .num,.mw-parser-output .frac .den{font-size:80%;line-height:0;vertical-align:super}.mw-parser-output .frac .den{vertical-align:sub}.mw-parser-output .sr-only{border:0;clip:rect(0,0,0,0);height:1px;margin:-1px;overflow:hidden;padding:0;position:absolute;width:1px}2+1⁄2 miles (4.0 km) north of Bodmin.[1] The meaning of the name Helland is unclear: it is possible that the origin is in Cornish hen & lan (i.e. old church). The original dedication of the church is unknown but St Helena is now recognised as the patron.[2]
