Dunvegan ist eine Ortschaft im Civil Parish Duirinish auf der schottischen Insel Isle of Skye und gehört somit zur Council Area Highland, sie ist 23 km von Portree entfernt. Im Jahr 2011 hatte sie eine Bevölkerung von 386 Einwohnern.[1] Sie liegt am Ufer des Meeresarmes Loch Dunvegan. Dunvegan Castle liegt nördlich des Dorfes.[2] Das Dorf hat eine Reihe von Geschäften.[3] Die neogotische Dunvegan Parish Church ist als Denkmal der Kategorie A geschützt.[4]

Dunvegan (Scottish Gaelic: Dùn Bheagain) is a village on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. It is famous for Dunvegan Castle, seat of the chief of Clan MacLeod. Dunvegan is within the parish of Duirinish,[1] and Duirinish Parish Church is at Dunvegan. In 2011 it had a population of 386.[2]
