Coton in the Elms ist ein Dorf und ein Civil Parish in der englischen Grafschaft Derbyshire. Mit 113 km (70 Meilen) Entfernung zur Küste ist es der Ort im Vereinigten Königreich, der am weitesten von der Küstenlinie entfernt liegt. Laut der Volkszählung von 2011 lebten 896 Menschen im Parish.[1] Coton in the Elms liegt etwa neun Kilometer südlich von Burton upon Trent und etwa zwölf Kilometer nördlich von Tamworth.

Coton in the Elms is a village and parish in the English county of Derbyshire. At 70 miles (110 km) from the coast, it is the one of the furthest places in the United Kingdom from coastal waters. The population of the civil parish as of the 2011 census was 896.[1] It is located 5 miles (8.0 km) southwest of Swadlincote and 6 miles (9.7 km) south of Burton upon Trent.
