King's Meaburn is a small village and civil parish in Cumbria, England.[2] It is 5 miles (8.0 km) from Appleby-in-Westmorland and 10 miles (16 km) from Penrith, in the valley of the River Lyvennet. The river flows just to the west of the village, and was[citation needed] crossed by a ford on the road to Newby and Morland.
