    Lerma ist eine nordspanische Kleinstadt und eine aus dem Hauptort sowie 6 Weilern (pedanías) bestehende Gemeinde (municipio) mit insgesamt 2.529 Einwohnern (Stand 1. Januar 2019) im Süden der Provinz Burgos in der Autonomen Gemeinschaft Kastilien-León. Das historische Zentrum von Lerma ist als Kulturgut (Bien de Interés Cultural) in der Kategorie Conjunto histórico-artístico anerkannt.

It has important monuments dating from the 17th century, which were built by the Duke of Lerma.[2] The village is home to the headquarters of the Spanish wine denominación de origen protegida Arlanza DOP.

El término municipal cuenta con una población de 2609 habitantes (INE 2021). El casco histórico de la localidad, que también es conocida como «Villa Ducal de Lerma» al tener el título de villa, goza del estatus de bien de interés cultural, en la categoría de conjunto histórico.
