Storia
Il villaggio viene citato per la prima volta nel 1355 come feudo della Signoria di Smilno e luogo in cui veniva applicato il diritto germanico. Successivamente passò alla Signoria di Makovica. Rimasto spopolato a causa delle rivolte e delle guerre che insanguinarono la regione nel XV secolo, venne ripopolato da coloni ruteni.
Il villaggio deriva il suo nome da quello del cavaliere Andreas, che lo fondò.

Andrejová (ungarisch Endrevágása – bis 1907 Andrejova) ist eine Gemeinde im Osten der Slowakei mit 373 Einwohnern (Stand 31. Dezember 2020). Sie gehört zum Okres Bardejov, einem Kreis des Prešovský kraj, und wird zur traditionellen Landschaft Šariš gezählt.[en] Andrejová
Andrejová (Rusyn: Андріёва, Ukrainian: Андрійова, Hungarian: Endrevágása) is a village and municipality in Bardejov District in the Prešov Region of Slovakia.[4] The predominant religion is the Greek Catholic Church with 4.9% Eastern Orthodox. The Catholic Church of Virgin Mary the Protectrice of 1893 can be found in the village. The village lies at an altitude of 325 metres and covers an area of 11.679 km2. It has a population of about 362 inhabitants.[5] The village is about 51% Slovak, 20% Rusyn, 16% Romany and 11% Ukrainian with minorities. The village used to have public library. There is a football pitch and volleyball playground.[fr] Andrejová
