Jędrzychowice [jɛndʐɨxɔˈvit͡sɛ] (German: Hennersdorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Zgorzelec, within Zgorzelec County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, close to the German border.[1]

It lies on the eastern bank of the Lusatian Neisse river within the historic Upper Lusatia region, approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north of Zgorzelec, and 141 kilometres (88 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław. It is known as the site of a road border crossing of the Polish A4 autostrada with the German Bundesautobahn 4 at Görlitz-Ludwigsdorf. Border controls have been abolished upon the accession of Poland to the Schengen Area in 2007.

In 2009 the village had a population of 679.[2]

Der Ort Jędrzychowice (deutsch Hennersdorf, oberlausitzisch: Hennerschdurf[2]) gehört zur polnischen Landgemeinde Zgorzelec und liegt wenige Kilometer nördlich von Zgorzelec. Besonders bekannt ist er durch seinen ehemaligen großen Grenzübergang zur Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Die deutsche Autobahn 4 wird hier als polnische Autobahn Autostrada A4 weitergeführt. Nach dem Beitritt Polens 2004 zur Europäischen Union und zum Schengener Abkommen fielen die Grenzkontrollen weg und der Grenzübergang mit den Kontrollanlagen wurde bis 2012 komplett zurückgebaut.
