Żytkiejmy [ʐɨtˈkʲɛi̯mɨ]; (German: Szittkehmen until 1936, 1936-38 Schittkehmen, 1938-46 Wehrkirchen;[1] Lithuanian: Žydkiemis) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Dubeninki, within Gołdap County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with Lithuania and the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[2] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Dubeninki, 25 km (16 mi) east of Gołdap, and 156 km (97 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
