Der Distrikt Incahuasi (Quechua Inka wasi, „Haus der Inka“) liegt in der Provinz Ferreñafe in der Region Lambayeque im Nordwesten von Peru. Der Distrikt wurde am 17. Februar 1951 gegründet. Er hat eine Fläche von 443,91 km². Beim Zensus 2017 wurden 13.858 Einwohner gezählt.[1] Im Jahr 1993 lag die Einwohnerzahl bei 13.316, im Jahr 2007 bei 14.230.[1] Sitz der Distriktverwaltung ist die 3078 m hoch gelegene Ortschaft Incahuasi mit 904 Einwohnern (Stand 2017). Die Bevölkerung ist hauptsächlich indigener Abstammung und spricht als Muttersprache Inkawasi-Kañaris, eine Varietät des Quechua. Im äußersten Südwesten des Distrikts befindet sich das 8328 Hektar große Schutzgebiet Refugio de Vida Silvestre Laquipampa auf der nördlichen Uferseite des Río La Leche.[en] Incahuasi District
