Bryggja is a village in southwestern part of Stad Municipality in Vestland county, Norway.[3] It is located on the mainland, along the northern shore of the Nordfjorden. The village is located about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) east of the urban areas of Måløy–Deknepollen–Tennebø in Kinn Municipality and it is about 25 kilometres (16 mi) west of the village of Stårheim. The small village of Totland lies just west of Bryggja.[4]

The 0.4-square-kilometre (99-acre) village has a population (2018) of 317 and a population density of 793 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,050/sq mi).[1]
On 1 January 2020, the Totland - Maurstad - Bryggja areas were transferred from Vågsøy Municipality to the newly created Stad Municipality.[5]
