Westmaas a été une commune indépendante jusqu'au 1^er janvier 1984. Elle a fusionné avec Puttershoek, Mijnsheerenland, Maasdam et Heinenoord pour former la nouvelle commune de Binnenmaas.

Westmaas (Dutch pronunciation: [ʋɛstˈmaːs]) is a village in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is located about 14 km south of the city of Rotterdam, next to Mijnsheerenland in the municipality of Hoeksche Waard.[3] In 2020, the population was 2065.[4]
