Shit (Persian: شيت, also Romanized as Sheet; also known as Chihi, Chin, Posht, and Shīd)[1] is a village in Chavarzaq Rural District, Chavarzaq District, Tarom County, Zanjan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 804, in 192 families.[2] The village is nearly 500 years old.[3] The village has been declared a special tourism area of Zanjan Province and Tarom city.[4]
