Al censimento del 2001 la popolazione di Saiha assommava a 19.731 persone, delle quali 10.175 maschi e 9.556 femmine. I bambini di età inferiore o uguale ai sei anni assommavano a 3.215, dei quali 1.691 maschi e 1.524 femmine. Infine, coloro che erano in grado di saper almeno leggere e scrivere erano 15.544, dei quali 8.154 maschi e 7.390 femmine.[3].

Saiha, auch Siaha, ist eine Stadt im indischen Bundesstaat Mizoram.[en] Siaha
Siaha (official name given by the Mara Autonomous District Council,[2] popularly known as Saiha) is a census town in Siaha district in the Indian north-eastern state of Mizoram. It is the Headquarters of the Mara Autonomous District Council, one of the three autonomous district councils within Mizoram. It is located in the South Central part of the state. The word 'Siaha' in the local Mara language comes from 'Sia' for Masia which means elephant and 'ha' meaning tooth - An elephant tooth. It was a place where a large amount of elephant teeth were found. Though the local people name the town as Siaha, Mizos called it by the name 'Saiha', which is purely a translated term in Mizo language.- [it] Saiha
