Kandhamal district is a district in the state of Odisha, India. The district headquarters of the district is Phulbani. Kandhamal is famous for its local turmeric renowned as 'Kandhamal Haldi' which has earned the Geographical indication (GI) tag from Intellectual Property India, an organisation functioning under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (India).[3] It is the district full with natural beauties includes wild animals and birds.

Кандха́мал (ория କନ୍ଧମାଳ; англ. Kandhamal) — округ в индийском штате Одиша. Образован 1 апреля 1993 года в результате реорганизации округов штата. Административный центр — город Пхулбани. Площадь округа — 7654 км². По данным всеиндийской переписи 2001 года население округа составляло 648 201 человек. Уровень грамотности взрослого населения составлял 52,7 %, что ниже среднеиндийского уровня (59,5 %). Доля городского населения составляла 6,8 %.
