Die Gemeinde Südlohn (plattdeutsch Söddloon) liegt im westlichen Münsterland im Nordwesten des Bundeslands Nordrhein-Westfalen und ist eine kreisangehörige Gemeinde des Kreises Borken im Regierungsbezirk Münster. Im Jahre 2006 feierte die Gemeinde Südlohn zusammen mit der katholischen Kirchengemeinde St. Vitus (heute: St. Vitus und St. Jakobus) ihr 775-jähriges Bestehen. Das Rathaus befindet sich im Ortsteil Oeding.[2][en] Südlohn
