Schwäbisch Hall (1802–1934 offiziell nur Hall – wie bis heute umgangssprachlich) ist eine Stadt im fränkisch geprägten Nordosten Baden-Württembergs etwa 37 km östlich von Heilbronn und 60 km nordöstlich von Stuttgart. Sie ist der Kreissitz und die größte Stadt des Landkreises Schwäbisch Hall und bildet ein Mittelzentrum in der Region Heilbronn-Franken.[en] Schwäbisch Hall
Schwäbisch Hall (German pronunciation: [ˈʃvɛːbɪʃ ˈhal]; "Swabian Hall"; from 1802 until 1934 and colloquially: Hall [3]) is a city in the German state of Baden-Württemberg located in the valley of the Kocher river, the longest tributary (together with its headwater Lein) of the Neckar river. The closest larger city is Heilbronn, and Schwäbisch Hall lies north-east of the state capital of Stuttgart. It is the seat of the district (Landkreis) of Schwäbisch Hall.[fr] Schwäbisch Hall
Schwäbisch Hall est une ville du land de Bade-Wurtemberg en Allemagne. Elle est la préfecture et la plus grande ville de l'arrondissement de Schwäbisch Hall (188 694 habitants au 31 décembre 2009[1]), qui fait partie de la région Heilbronn-Franconie. L'arrondissement actuel est issu du regroupement des anciens arrondissements Crailsheim, Gaildorf, Gerabronn et Schwäbisch Hall entré en vigueur depuis le 1er janvier 1973[2]. Il est situé au sud de la plaine de Hohenlohe et à l'est ou nord-est des monts de Souabe et Franconie, petit massif du keuper[2] dont une partie appartient à l'arrondissement de Schwäbisch Hall jusque la commune de Mainhardt.
