Storia
Il comune venne formato il 26 ottobre 2003 dalla fusione dei comuni di Mühlenbeck, Schildow, Schönfließ e Zühlsdorf[2]. Il nome del nuovo comune significa "Regione di Mühlenbeck", con riferimento al centro abitato più importante.
