Glauchau (im sächsischen Dialekt auch Glauche) ist eine Große Kreisstadt im sächsischen Landkreis Zwickau. Im ehemaligen Landkreis Chemnitzer Land war sie Kreisstadt. Die Stadt hatte ihre Blüte zur Zeit der Hochindustrialisierung in Deutschland und war ein bedeutender Standort der Textilindustrie.

It is part of the Zwickau district.
