Bühl (alemannisch Bihl) ist eine Stadt im Westen Baden-Württembergs rund zehn Kilometer südwestlich von Baden-Baden. Sie ist nach der Kreisstadt Rastatt und der Stadt Gaggenau die drittgrößte Stadt des Landkreises Rastatt und bildet ein Mittelzentrum für die umliegenden Gemeinden. Seit dem 1. Januar 1973 ist Bühl eine Große Kreisstadt. Mit der Gemeinde Ottersweier ist die Stadt Bühl eine Vereinbarte Verwaltungsgemeinschaft eingegangen.[en] Bühl (Baden)
The city of Bühl (Low Alemannic: Bihl) is part of the district of Rastatt in the southwestern state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It has a history reaching back to the twelfth century and was formerly an agricultural town, especially famous for its plums. Bühl has a population of about 29,000, and is in the region between the Rhine Valley and the Black Forest.[es] Bühl
