Waldkraiburg ist die größte Stadt im oberbayerischen Landkreis Mühldorf am Inn. Mit 23.957 Einwohnern (Stand: 31. Dezember 2021) ist Waldkraiburg nach Rosenheim (63.508 Einwohner – ebenfalls Stand 31. Dezember 2021) die zweitgrößte Stadt in der Planungsregion Südostoberbayern und eine von 13 sogenannten leistungsfähigen kreisangehörigen Gemeinden in Bayern. Waldkraiburg gehört zur Tourismusregion Inn-Salzach.

Waldkraiburg is a town in the district of Mühldorf, in Bavaria, Germany with a population of about 24,000. It is the biggest town in the district of Mühldorf. It is located on the river Inn, approximately ten kilometers southwest of Mühldorf and sixty kilometers east of Munich. Waldkraiburg is one of the Bavarian displaced person cities. During World War II, an armour factory fabricated gunpowder in this area. The remaining bunkers were soon used as makeshift housing for displaced persons from Sudetenland and Bohemia.

Вальдкра́йбург (нем. Waldkraiburg) — город в Баварии (Германия), в округе Мюльдорф-на-Инне. Население около 24000 человек (немцы, турки, выходцы из бывшего СССР, а также этнические немцы из Румынии, которые собственно и основали город). Здесь вырос известный певец в Германии Петер Маффай, (нем. Peter Maffay). Город расположен на реке Инн, примерно в 10 км от Мюльдорфа и в 60 км от Мюнхена.
