    Böhl-Iggelheim ist eine verbandsfreie Gemeinde im zu Rheinland-Pfalz gehörenden Rhein-Pfalz-Kreis und gemessen an der Einwohnerzahl dessen fünftgrößte Ortsgemeinde. Böhl-Iggelheim, Teil der Metropolregion Rhein-Neckar, ist gemäß Landesplanung als Grundzentrum ausgewiesen.[2]
