Géographie

Burgk se situe sur une colline au-dessus de la Saale. En plus de Burgk, la commune comprend les villages de Burgkhammer (sur la Saale, puisqu'il y a un barrage) et d'Isabellengrün.

Histoire

Burgk est mentionné pour la première fois en 1291 en raison de son château.
