Der Kanton Lignières war bis 2015 ein französischer Wahlkreis im Département Cher und in der Region Centre-Val de Loire. Er umfasste neun Gemeinden im Arrondissement Saint-Amand-Montrond; sein Hauptort (frz.: chef-lieu) war Lignières. Die landesweiten Änderungen in der Zusammensetzung der Kantone brachten im März 2015 seine Auflösung. Vertreterin im conseil général des Départements war zuletzt für die Jahre 2008–2015 Janine Bernadet.

The Canton of Lignières is a former canton situated in the Cher département and in the Centre region of France. It was disbanded following the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. It consisted of 9 communes,[1] which joined the canton of Châteaumeillant in 2015.[2] It had 4,097 inhabitants (2012).[1]
